What makes Matangi Angus beef different from supermarket meat?

Our beef is 100% grass-fed and finished on our sustainable farm. We focus on low-stress stock handling and dry-aging our meat for 21 days to ensure superior marbling, tenderness, and a deep, complex flavor profile that grain-fed alternatives cannot match.

How is the meat packaged for shipping?

All orders are vacuum-sealed for freshness and shipped in specialized chilled thermal boxes with compostable insulation and reusable gel ice packs. This ensures your beef stays at a food-safe temperature from our farm to your doorstep.

Do you deliver nationwide?

We currently deliver to most residential and business addresses across the North and South Islands. Please note that we cannot deliver to PO Boxes or some extremely remote rural locations to ensure the cold chain is not broken.

Can I freeze the beef once it arrives?

Yes. Because our meat is vacuum-packed fresh (never previously frozen), it is ideal for home freezing. We recommend freezing immediately upon arrival if you do not plan to consume it within the 'Best Before' date indicated on the label.

What is your return policy for food products?

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns. However, if there is an issue with the quality of your order or if it arrived damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos so we can provide a replacement or refund.
